Jessica Walker

A proud honors graduate of Texas Tech University, Jessica has found that many roads and years of hard work have led her to Wohlstand Wealth Strategies. For half her life, you would find Jessica with a microphone in her hand, either in leadership roles or as a touring musician. She was singing before she was talking, and her childhood dreams of being a modern-day Patsy Cline carried through young adulthood. A child of retail business owners, Jessica was known for singing country music in storefront windows throughout North Texas and on any possible makeshift stage she could create. She put an education degree on permanent hold when she packed her bag, moved to Austin, and stepped on a tour bus the day after her student teaching period ended. For four years, she traveled the country, performing alongside some of the biggest names in the business. She checked off two of her bucket list items: performing at Austin City Limits and the hollowed Ryman Auditorium for the Grand Old Opry. During that time, she met and married fellow touring musician Seth Walker. Life and the desire to unpack a bag led her off the tour bus and onto other roads, including medical practice development, nursing, and a successful leadership and development business of her own.

Watching her entrepreneurial parents build multiple businesses for the entirety of her life, she was exposed to the intricacies of creating, building, and navigating the storms of small business ownership. When, in March 2020, a serendipitous turn of events led her to the financial services realm the week lockdowns were enforced, she knew she was positioned to act on behalf of so many business owner peers. Helping others protect what they work so hard to build for their families and employees became a passion. From that point on, it has remained her mission to be highly educated and up to date on sophisticated strategies and planning methods that empower families and business owners not only to protect and enjoy their hard-earned assets but, when needed, to pass them seamlessly and efficiently to the next generation. She jokes that these days, the microphone has been replaced by financial literature.
Her commitment to excellence and dedication to her clients has led to many industry accolades, including Million Dollar Round Table - Court of the Table and appointments to The Nautilus Group and Eagle Strategies. She has been nominated “New Braunfels Best of the Best Financial Advisors” in 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024.
Of all, she’s most proud of her family. She’s been married to her favorite person in the world for 21 years, and together, they have 3 beautiful kids. Charlie will be 18, a Senior at New Braunfels Christian Academy, and headed toward life as a first responder, firefighter, and EMS. Jack, a freshman at NBCA, is destined to be a UN ambassador or, hopefully, a financial advisor with mom. If you meet him, you love him. He's that kind of guy. Ellie is 3, the blessing they never saw coming, and the red-headed joy of the family.
Out of the office, you’ll find her enjoying all that New Braunfels has to offer, especially on the water. She loves to fish and paddleboard, Crossfit with her boys, and garden. She dreams of owning a mountain home and escaping the Texas summers. In the meantime, you’ll find her reading, enjoying a good breakfast Taco, and stomping out anyone who will sit in the room when Wheel of Fortune is on.
Jennifer Larsen
Founder and Financial Advisor
As a little girl, Jennifer dreamed of being an entrepreneur. In fact, nine-year-old Jennifer could be found in her room running a travel agency or cutting out pictures from JC Penny magazine for her fictitious interior design business. That bug never left her, even as she engaged in her teaching career. In 2017, Jennifer took a significant leap to pursue her passion and joined the world of financial services.
Upon transitioning, Jennifer swiftly recognized the pressing need for simplifying financial concepts for the public, making them accessible and understandable to all. She was able to combine her love of entrepreneurship and talent for teaching to create a lasting impact on local businesses and families, while earning notable recognitions along the way, including being a member of the Million Dollar Round Table.

Jennifer spent four years on the management side of financial services, hiring and developing career changers into financial professionals. As fulfilling as that role was, Jennifer longed to be back in the field, working with her own clients.
Most recently, Jennifer, in collaboration with Jessica Walker, co-founded Wohlstand Wealth Strategies, LLC, a forward-thinking wealth advisory firm dedicated to providing personalized financial solutions.
Jennifer has been a New Braunfels resident since 2003, settling here shortly after graduating from West Texas A&M University. Jennifer began what would be a 14-year teaching career that would lead her to receive a Masters in Education from Texas State University.
She has two teenaged daughters, who keep her on her toes. Addison, 17, is involved with the Athletic Training program at Canyon High School and is facing the tough decision of where to attend college after high school. Mom is rooting for Texas State University. Emmi, 13, is involved in athletics at Canyon Middle School and all-star cheer at one of the nation’s top competitive cheer gyms. Their love for sports does not fall far from the tree, as Jennifer was a college tennis player, has ran two full marathons and is currently addicted to pickleball.
Lainey Coker
Marketing Assistant
For the past six years, Lainey has been dedicated to assisting business owners from the Pineywoods to the Hill Country. Shortly after arriving in New Braunfels, she was connected with Jennifer Larsen and Jessica Walker, Co-Founders of Wohlstand Wealth Strategies, allowing her to continue assisting those around her. With a heartfelt commitment to her community, she has consistently offered help through both professional assistance and volunteer work. Lainey has volunteered with CASA of Trinity Valley, earned the Presidential Volunteer Award, and is currently involved with a New Braunfels non-profit organization that supports families and youth in foster care.

When not serving others, Lainey enjoys spending time with her family in her hometown of Palestine, Texas. She has three older siblings, 11 nieces and nephews, and four great-nieces and nephews, all of whom she was blessed with before turning 22 years old. While Lainey cherishes East Texas, she has also grown to love New Braunfels. She envisions getting married and raising a family here, building new and strong relationships, and positively impacting the community through meaningful awareness.
Cara Hopkins

Cara Hopkins is our Administrative Assistant and all things “Paper” guru. She has been with us in the progression of our little company’s birth since June 2022, after her original agent resigned. Cara loves helping others, coming alongside to create peace in the chaos, or just getting something organized...with 4 children, 4 blessings of in-laws, and 5 grands, she has had a lot of experience! She has over 13 years in the customer service industry, covering everything from the financial realm to the green industry and overseas mission work. She greatly values quality customer care and wants to make sure all are cared for well.

When she is not working with Wohlstand Wealth, she is spending time with her grands, going to the beach with her husband of 37 years, painting, or gardening. She loves the great outdoors and being creative in the kitchen with her grandkids.
